It's Mental Health Awareness Month.

This is a month reserved to acknowledge the trials and tribulations that people with mental health issues go through, while also working to rip away the stigma associated with not having the best mental health.

As a gift, I thought I'd share a period of my life where my mental health was ultimately the worst it's ever been.

Between you and I, a lot of my current issues are mirroring this time period in 2014, although I'm thankful to say they aren't nearly as bad as they once were.

You aren't alone. You will never be alone. Regardless of what others may say or what you may tell yourself, you are valued, loved, and I am so happy you are here with us.

Things suck.

If they didn't suck now they would suck eventually and that's the truth.

But, they won't suck forever, and in the mean time please remember that I love you, I'm here for you, and you are not alone.

Without further adieu, here is Chapter 8 of my unreleased book, Successfully Unsuccessful.

Sometimes you need to make a mess to make something beautiful, and it goes without being said that I was making constant messes in 2014.
